Every January feels like a reset.

A deep breath. A chance to slow down. A moment to decide what actually matters before the calendar fills up again.

For me, 2026 is about being rooted—in rhythm, in relationships, and in the way I want my work to feel. And that’s exactly why I’m introducing Personality Sessions this year… and why I’m choosing not to offer Spring Minis.

Let me explain.

What Are Personality Sessions?

Personality Sessions are intentional, kid-led studio sessions designed to capture who your child really is in this season.

Not the stiff smile.

Not the “look at the camera and behave.”

But the smirk, the softness, the confidence, the curiosity—the parts you see every day at home.

These sessions are:

Short and relaxed

Playful and pressure-free

Focused on real expressions and connection

I don’t ask kids to “say cheese.”

I let them warm up. I talk with them. I let them move.

And I photograph the moments that happen in between.

If your child is shy, bold, quiet, silly, serious—or all of the above—this session meets them where they are.
