There’s a photo I took years ago—
my mom and my sister snuggled up with my son Brody when he was just two years old.
It’s soft and simple - blurry even.
No perfect outfits. No staged poses.
Just a quiet moment full of love.
It’s one of my absolute favorites.
Because now… my mom is gone.
My sister’s life looks different.
And that version of me?
I was navigating single mom life, full of questions and holding on with everything I had.
I didn’t know it then, but I was photographing a version of my story I’d never get back.
You’ll never regret the photo.
Even if it’s not perfect.
Especially if it’s not perfect.
These are the moments that become our legacy—
the ones we return to when the world changes.
I photograph families this way on purpose.
Because your life, as it is today, is worth remembering.
Not in posed smiles—but in presence, connection, and love.
Fall sessions open soon.
If your heart has been nudging you… this is the moment to listen.
