Fall family photo season is right around the corner…
and if you’re already spiraling over outfits—I’ve got you.
Here’s my go-to advice to keep it easy, stress-free, and still totally frame-worthy:
1. Pick a color palette, not matching outfits.
Soft neutrals like cream, tan, olive, denim, mustard, or burnt orange photograph beautifully in fall light. Let everyone express their personality, but keep them in the same color family.
2. Start with mom’s outfit first.
Find something that makes you feel beautiful and comfortable—then build the rest of the family around that. You deserve to love how you look.
3. Add texture (not logos).
Knit sweaters, linen dresses, denim layers, or corduroy pants add visual interest without being distracting. Skip logos or neon—subtle always wins.
4. Don’t overthink it.
You don’t need to run out and buy a whole new wardrobe. Borrow, thrift, or build around what you already love wearing.
5. I’ll help!
Every client gets access to my fall style guide—plus you can text me pics for outfit input. I’m here to take the stress off your plate.
✨ Bonus Tip: Kids being comfy matters more than anything. Happy kids = better photos, every time.
