As a lifestyle family photographer in Edwardsville, IL, I’ve learned that the magic isn’t in the perfect pose—it’s in the chaos. The giggles. The dirt-smudged cheeks. The running, jumping, tickling, and pure joy that happens when we let kids… just be kids.
Why I Embrace the Wild
Over the years, I’ve photographed toddlers mid-tantrum, siblings in full tickle fights, and babies who want nothing to do with swaddles. And those are often the images parents cherish most—the ones that feel real. Timeless. Honest.
Because childhood is messy and fast and wonderful. And when you freeze it in a frame? You get a time capsule you’ll never want to forget.

When you book a session with me, I’ll guide you—yes. But I won’t force poses or perfection. I’ll talk to your kids, get on their level, make them laugh, and probably act a little ridiculous.
