Some sessions take a few minutes to warm up... and others start with laser focus on the candy jars. 😂


As soon as Addie, Ryker, and Alice walked into the studio in downtown Edwardsville, they knew what was up. They spotted those jars and gave me a look that said, “We’re gonna give you the good stuff—just make sure you hold up your end of the deal.” And ohhhh, did they deliver.


Each one of these kiddos brought their own flavor of sugar and spice:

✨ Addie is the oldest and totally owns that big sister energy—sweet, steady, and just the right amount of “I’ve got this.”

✨ Ryker, the middle man, brought allll the charm and a little mischief (the best combo, honestly).

✨ And Alice, the baby, came in with the sass and sparkle—tiny but mighty and FULL of personality.


Studio sessions like this are my favorite because there’s nothing to distract from what matters most—the big laughs, the little glances, and all the real stuff in between. We kept things light and fun (with a few candy bribes, let’s be honest), and captured exactly who these kids are right now.


By the end, we had sticky fingers, belly laughs, and a gallery full of gold.
